Harrison Ford has now admitted that he was wrong to ask George Lucas to kill off his character in return of the Jedi.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly he told them that he was more than happy that Hans Solo is alive and well as it allowed him to rejoin the saga 32 years later.
Ford said: ‘I was glad that the character was still alive for me to play in this new iteration.
